I grew up in a very small town in upstate New York. And after studying photography and advertising in Baltimore I moved to Thailand to teach English to college students, which gave me the opportunity to photograph and write about my travels in Southeast Asia. Upon returning to the United States I freelanced as a photographer and built websites for small businesses before getting my Master's degree at the VCU Brandcenter in Experience Design. I've spent more than 10 years as an advertising Art Director creating high profile campaigns and guiding large and small scale productions for major clients like Vans, Google, Coors, Dropbox, Instagram, and others. Using this experience to my advantage, I love the creativity and collaboration that goes into creating successful projects.

I largely specialize in adventure and travel lifestyle photography and believe that more often than not, it's the small details that tell the biggest story.
